Investment Strategy

We started Tripple to make our capital work as hard as possible for a safe and just future. Too often the bulk of people’s capital, their investment dollars, are working against the aims of their values. We wanted to flip the script.

This means investing 100% of our investment capital in purpose-driven companies and focusing our grantmaking on systems change and advocacy.

Today, Tripple invests in climate and decarbonisation, regenerative food systems, socially just housing and education. Some investments we’re particularly proud of include; Ngutu College, an Aboriginal led independent school in SA, Amber Electric, an energy provider shifting Australia to 100% renewables and Wilam Ngarrang, an apartment building in Melbourne that produces more energy than it consumes.

We aim for long term sustainable returns alongside, and enhanced by, a purpose first approach. We believe that through our investment activity we can generate a positive impact on people and the planet, and achieve financial benefit in line with a traditional investment portfolio. All potential investments are screened for the impact they’ll have on the world alongside financial analysis.
